After reading the incredible "The Husband's Secret". I can't help what wonder, Is it better to know, or stay "blissfully ignorant"? After my own family secrets started to spill out in the past year, It is a true question. Is it really better to know? After hearing some things that made me look at other family members differently, I wanted to push a button or take a pill to unhear this info. Where do I sign up for that?
Every person I have ever come across always said, "I would want to know." But after they know all, they can't handle it. Sometimes IGNORANCE IS BLISS. Life might play out much differently if you didn't know that your daughter really wasn't yours, yet your wife loved you with all her heart. But, now that you know this information, you can't look at your daughter or your wife the same way again. But your daughter didn't choose this.
My husband just looked over at me as I type to say. "The bitterest truth is always better than the sweetest lie" That may be true. But every one of us on this earth has wished they didn't know what they know. Your brain can't shut this information off.
More words of wisdom... all from the same movie "Don't ask questions you don't want to know the answer to"
